Why Hashimoto's affects so much more than your thyroid?

Hashimoto's creates a cascade of dysfunction across multiple interconnected body systems. Here is what is often happening beneath the surface:

70–80% of your immune system lives in your gut. Intestinal permeability, dysbiosis, and poor digestive function are extremely common in Hashimoto's — and directly fuel the autoimmune cycle. Healing the gut is not optional. It is foundational.
